About this experience
Instruction-focused, not a tow. Jacob Jensen coaches every private lesson — he surfed every day for three years in Costa Rica — working on your stance, rope release and riding the wave unassisted. Two to four hours, just your group. First-timer or working on a 360. Most first-timers are up and riding on day one. Boards, ropes and safety gear are included. Two hours at $325/hr is the minimum. 3 hours runs $300/hr ($900) and 4 hours $280/hr ($1,120) — the rate you land on applies to every hour.

What to bring
